Boudin Noir

Boudin Noir or Blood sausage is one of the oldest and most traditional of French foods.

4 onions, cut into rings

4 apples,  sliced thinly

some butter

milk

======================= 

Fry  sausages in a little butter until brown on all sides; about 20 minutes. Set Aside.

In the same pan, saute onion rings and apple slices in butter until golden brown.

Put the sausage in a platter together with fried onions and apples.  Serve with mashed potatoes.
