Hi,
I am a big fan of cookies especially chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. Just like you, I prefer my baked goods on the toasted/darker side. To accomplish this in my cookie baking, I add "unsulphured molasses" (about 3 Tablespoons) for every batch. Should this adition make my cookies go soft, I just add a little bit of rice crispies or more nuts or dried fruits.

I like your blog because the recipes you post have already been tested. Keep up the good work. You may e-mail me directly. I could give you a lot more tips in baking and cooking bacause these are my passions along with other stuff.

I agree! It's so important to have quality raisins! I'm so glad you figured out your oven!

This is one of my most favorite cookie flavors!
