At least they taste good. They don’t look bad to me. They may not have the feet you were going for but at least you got cookies that you were able to make into sandwiches.

OK, your fillings are AMAZING, especially the vanilla-purple yam. I was going to do a purple yam filling also, but I overdid it in general, so I refrained. Very, very beautifully done..I’m awed and salivating :) BTW, I finally got my post up a day late, but better late than never..lol

Macarons are difficult, and I’m really impressed you managed to get them done under pressure. For a first attempt, they look good! I’m sure you’ll master them in now time. And the filling is really original! Great job!

For sure I will try it again, these cookies are really good, I have seen the different flavors others have made and I got excited, it seems the possibilities are endless here..I wonder why I didn’t try to make these before. Thanks again for the nice words, they’re very encouraging :)

Your kaya sounds wonderful. I eat way too many macarons too! I think this was a hard recipe for most people. Try a different recipe next time and I’m sure you’ll have better luck!
