Chocolate Crinkles

My kids and I had fun baking these cookies; It’s been a long while since I last made crinkles. This Christmas cookie recipe is one of the first baking recipes that I tried when I was just starting to learn how to bake.

I love crinkles but I (used to) only get to eat these cookies before around Christmas season, so when I saw this recipe and saw how very easy it is, I tried it immediately and I was very happy with the result…I can bake crinkles, yay! I even tried selling these cookies to some friends and acquaintances before. 🙂

It’s one of those..dry ingredients, wet ingredients, combine type of recipes..very easy

chocolate_crinkles_dough

…the dough is quite heavy, a mixer will make your job easier but I like to use wooden spoon just like I used to

Make dough into 1-inch balls and roll it in a bowl of confetioners’ sugar before baking

..and ta-da! yummy crinkles! 🙂
