Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large pot except for the spare ribs.
Stir mixture well then add the spareribs.
Set pot in the stove over medium-high heat/fire.
Let it come to a boil then lower heat and let the spareribs simmer until it's tender.
Check every now and then to see if there's still enough liquid.
Add more water if necessary.
When ribs are fork-tender, take it out of the pot.
If the remaining liquid is too runny, reduce it by letting it boil some more until it gets sauce-like consistency.
Pour and spread or brush it over the cooked ribs.
Heat a grill pan over high heat on the stove.
Brush it with a some oil then put the ribs on the grill pan and cook just until browned.
Serve with rice or your favorite side.
Enjoy!
ANOTHER WAY OF COOKING:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Put spare ribs in a baking dish.
Combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour it over spare ribs.
Cover baking dish with foil.
Put in the preheated oven and bake for an hour or until spare ribs is tender.
Turn oven temperature to 375°F.
Remove foil from the pan.
Broil spare ribs until it gets brown on top.
Take out of the oven and let cool.
Let rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
