If you’re bored of your usual cappuccino, why not reverse it. Froth the coffee and top your cold or hot milk with it:)
My daughter introduced me to this coffee craze. She asked if we can make whipped coffee like the ones posted on IG. I was skeptical at first, I didn’t think that coffee can be whipped to a frosting like consistency. I had to try it of course:)
We ran out of instant coffee powder so I used espresso and… it didn’t work.
So instant coffee powder it is!
I’m AMAZED, this is so SIMPLE and how come I never heard of this before!
WHY don’t you give it a try too..it’s a good way to pass your boredom while on lockdown:) Promise, you’ll like it, and most likely do it again and again.
To make Dalgona Coffee, you will need–
instant coffee powder or granules and sugar plus hot water in equal amount. That’s 1:1:1. Easy-peasy to remember! Just whip it until you get a mocha frosting-like consistency.
It’ll take a few minutes using a wire whisk. If you are making this for more than 2 servings, it’s better to use handheld mixer…much easier and faster.
